Most Antivirus softwares will have this options when we doing scan on our PC.
Quick Scan and Full Scan

Can anybody here explain whats the difference between this 2?
Whats the limitations that Quick Scan does?

quick scan usually scan only important folder such as system folder.

full scan will include all the drive other than the system drive.

I might want to correct this statement slightly.

A Full Scan Scans for EVERY Folder in Every Drive selected (excluding folders, files and drives within the Exclusion List).

Quick Scans USUALLY (Not all the Time) Scans:-
1. Memory (PID etc...)
2. System Folders (WINDOWS, SYSTEM32 and the like)
3. [POSSIBLY] Documents and Settings
4. [POSSIBLY] Registry (though this would be included in the System Folders Category)

Cheers to all!

P.S. Please correct me if there are any Errs. Cheers!
