Sounds noob. But too many to change and no ladder no tools so wondering any sifu can provide info.

How much is the rate to hire electrician to change lights in KL PJ? Round kitchen/bedrooms light, 10ft false ceiling led lights.

How they charge - per light or by hour?

Can such electrician rewire the lights? Thinking of rewiring false ceiling lights to 2 L shapes using 2 switches instead of 1 switch to on everything.

Updates : Condo serviceman quotes rm10 per led bulb change for false ceiling. Not inclusive of led or wiring. Is this a fair price?

very much depending on how hard the job is, if simple small ladder to change bulb should be very cheap, but some ceiling is very high or dangerous, then it will cost higher.

rewiring also depending on how complicated the job is, access to the false ceilingĀ  as well as previous wiring to the switch. might need to hack, which will cost a bomb,

I would think 90% simple job with ladder. For rewiring will only decide after cost estimate.
10 ft false ceiling also very accessible its the square type.

Any minimum to change bulb?
Found out one switch has sparks when on. How much for such repair?

U need to state ur location.

Assuming u are in Klang Valley, RM10 per light I think is reasonable, or cheap... Read somewhere, forgot where, for new installation (exclude wiring), RM15 per lamp and RM80 per fan, which i suppose the rate is applicable for replacement also.
Somemore if is own condo-man, u can anytime call him come up and settle should there is issue after the replacement. U find outsiders, only 1 or 2 lamps got post-issue dont think they will entertain u.

Not intention to stinge on this just totally no idea of the rate since never change any bulb of false ceiling for last 10 years.

Location is Subang. Friends in ampang area quoted rm5-10 for labour cost regardless to lights changed. Find it a bit off so asked here.
