My Pioneer HTIB HTZ 280DVD out today which served me well for the past 12 years. Today power up, keep blink ‘SUB COM’, suspect motherboard gone. In fact, since last year the Tuner start have some issue keep having disturb like someone knocking on some channel. Any recommendation which similar to this sound quality? Understand that AVR is much better. I more on playing MP3 song, and Movie on weekend, however my family used to listen to FM radio on day time which quite long hours. So power consumption become a concern for me. Is that ok for the AVR on Tuner from morning to evening? My current Pioneer only used 55W. Any good suggestion for me? rxv385 no problem with this speaker. you should ask wharfedale suit ur listening taste or not.
power usage is separate avr plus subwoofer (separate plug) later

Ya. I trying to get some info before make a trip to try the sound. I wonder the satellite speaker able to drive and produce good sound quality from amp.

one way (single mid woofer cone without tweeter) satelite as we guess from size. advantage is response speed, weakness is limited range (suitable high tone voice). overall is ok thing provided you use the bass subwoofer that came with
