Look at the reality la, what’s the possibility for a typical police car-chase until need the peformance of an m3.

Firstly, the running costs for a peformance car is completely different from your run of the mill 330i. It’s just not practical for a third world country to upkeep a PATROL car, which is meant to be patrolling the roads at all time to create an illusion of “police presence is everywhere”, and peformance cars is like a superbike - yes it can be driven slow, but it’s not the ideal for heat management and the lifespan of thr car, the temps WILL run hotter.

Secondly. We’re in malaysia, do i even need to describe our typical road to you? The x3 maybe can understand abit la, but the m3, which literally will get fucked over by a myvi passing a roadbump at speed. Potholes anyone, with such low profile tyre, the car will get dented rims very fast, then effects the car handling, and a risk to public safety if any high speed car chase were to happen.

Thirdly, this car is supposed to chase down crminal on the move, an m3 is undeniably QUICK and fast, BUT, you’re not RACING with the criminals myvi/satria/van/4x4 ok. Let’s say you manage to overtake the criminal car - then what? Brakecheck him? Use a m3 to block their car? cars get banged up, damaged and stuff, and an m3, with all its front facing huge ass radiators, how you gonna survive a car chase? The repair cost for that car most probably is a crime in itself already. At least fit some bull bars on the car la, but heyyy no - later tak cantik kan? LOL

Seriously, there is absolutely zero practical reason why an m3 is to be used for a patrol car in malaysia. This is NOT americas where high cc, fast cars are fking common.
