Can, but it may be safer to extend 6in hose with hose clip to the tap, and use those clip on hose adaptor from daiso so you can use the quick release (on the WM inlet hose) without stressing the elbow L joint inside the wall (leak already u need to hack to fix)

More versatile if you get a quick release adapter so you can use the tap other than fixed to washing machine. ceo684 liked this post

thanks all for the reply..
reason why I use this tap is because I will remove from existing toilet and install it for my washing machine.. I'm replacing my toilet one with bidet spray.. so have extra unit and no need to buy new one for my washing machine |
