Why RPG games have these traits?

You know, especially JRPGs...
1. Going into people's house uninvited and ransacked their house for money and goods, while the occupants like no rasa. 2. Break stuff inside the house, throw pots at them etc. Playing Dragon Quest 7 on PCSX2 on my PC now. Which i didn't get to finish last time.... |
