based on the breakdown, they're planning to expand overseas which is a good sign.
whether or not that will be successful then is another gamble. |

QUOTE(Avenger_2012 @ Mar 4 2022, 05:38 PM) First time trying to apply for IPO. What’s the minimum I should try to have a higher chance for successful bid? 10k is enough? It is by random chance. So doesn’t matter how much you put in. But remember if the IPO falls on first day, you’ll end up lose more money. |

QUOTE(Avenger_2012 @ Mar 4 2022, 05:55 PM) My own real life example:I bought senheng IPO for 1.07. On day one it fell down to 90 cents. I stop loss at 88 cents. Today the price is 85 cents and going lower. So yea lost a few hundred bucks with 2k investment. If I put in 10k, losses will be even more. Exact losses for my senheng: 2000 units x 1.07 = RM2140 On day I sell coz I saw price keep drop: 2000 units x 0.88 = RM1760 Loss of RM380 No one can tell exactly how the market will respond once stock is listed on first day. If you can take the risk then go ahead. IPO is like gambling. I’d rather wait for price to stable first (after listed) before going in. IPO can either drop a lot, or go up a lot on first week itself after listing. This post has been edited by Davidtcf: Mar 4 2022, 06:07 PM |

QUOTE(arabella @ Mar 7 2022, 01:09 PM) You are all so savvy : Khazanah, PE, thief, even the war in Europe. I also like their fresh milk. But still skeptical. Will wait after first week IPO launch to decide. I am buying it because I drink their low fat pasteurised milk, yoghurt ... and more new products seemed to be on the shelves. 😊 I used to look at the logos, so this is an improvement for me. The milk market may be saturated but very few sell fresh milk. I think Sun something and Dutch lady sells full cream fresh milk but not low fat. It's reconstituted and powdered. Anyway, I have only applied for a few lots. Goodluck to all of us who'd applied. That time we'll get more data and see how the market performs. |

QUOTE(xander83 @ Mar 21 2022, 08:15 PM) I already pour cold water a long time ago I think they are addicted to the thrill of buying IPOs.. In fact another downside from on their Australian operations is another oversupply is gonna drag down this share Macam betting in casino.. all in see whether can win or not guess the betters lucky this time.. stock price keep go up: https://klse.i3investor.com/web/stock/overview/5306 business model unique I guess, only vendor selling real fresh milk in the markets. QUOTE(Arif Che Man @ Mar 22 2022, 11:26 AM) Hi, beginner here. First time playing stock and first time doing IPO. Applied for 10, and approved for 6. So question to all sifu here, is there a good sign for potential for this share, or do I cashout now? this video good for long term investors on when to buy and sell:question you have to ask yourself, is the company biz model still viable? do you have faith in the company? can also set to sell at XX price if you scare to lose too much after prices stabilize due to this being a new stock launch. to those sifus, please advise if my calculation is correct or not:
73,900,000 x 0.25 = 18,475,000 (estimated dividend of 25%) Earnings per Share= Net Income − Preferred Dividends/ End-of-Period Common Shares Outstanding 73,900,000 - 18,475,000 / 1,860,000,000 = 0.0297983870967742 --------------- P/E Ratio= Market value per share/ Earnings per share 1.70 / 0.0297983870967742 = 57 --------------- Total PE ratio now for FFB is 57%, Good PE ratio is around 20-25%. At 25% means this stock as of today should worth 80 cents only. total shares 1.86 billion, and dividend of 25% I got from here: https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/farm...adjusted-profit net income from this page (requires free registration): https://simplywall.st/stocks/my/food-bevera...had-shares#past (cant find other source) Formula: https://www.investopedia.com/terms/e/eps.asp https://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/price-earningsratio.asp This post has been edited by Davidtcf: Mar 22 2022, 05:00 PM |

QUOTE(JPM0RGAN @ Mar 22 2022, 06:23 PM) If following pro analyst reports FYE MAR, FFB 21 net profit at 77.2 for 2021 and 2022E projected at 84.7. Think it was a good buy at 1.35. At 1.70 don’t think can fly higher already. Just park and reap long term benefits and growth from this company. Target payout of 25% is sustainable and reasonable considering the company is in high growth stage and reinvesting for expansion is the key for success. Thanks for feedback. If they really do well with their overseas expansion then stocks will really fly that time 👍 But for sure will do better than Senheng.. They have long term vision of how to expand. Product is unique and biz model hard to copy. |

QUOTE(xander83 @ Mar 22 2022, 09:17 PM) A lot will start cashing out a tax 1.55 Yea that is the tricky part. How to execute and make sure sufficient number of cows needed for Asian market alone is a big headache already. Milks need to be delivered fresh daily and need to have sufficient demand too.Provided they can capture the consumer markets abroad Vision is there but execution is another story |
