actually, why dont you consider the panny DMC LX-2?
it's essentially the identical camera with the leica d-lux 3 with an even cheaper price tag (around 1.5k). i'd seen the reviews online saying that the picture quality is the same. only that the color is slightly more saturated on the panny due to different firmware. |

i think get LX-2 better la...
