Actually, can you please specify what type of car are you looking for so we can perhaps give some suggestions as well?

A C200 Coupe and a 218i are 2 completely different types of cars.  rclxub.gif

I’m actually looking at coupe, in that case used C200 would be within my budget. My budget max I would stretch to is around RM220k but if possible I would like to keep it lower.

I’m only interested in the 218i because it’s brand new. I’m quite particular when it comes to condition as I don’t want any trouble in the future.

I was looking at Mazda 3 hatchback & Mini Cooper 3 door too. I don’t go by car segment, I’m just shortlisting the car based on the exterior design.

Wondering had the TS got the car?

Am looking at C200 Coupe as well !! Beautiful car...

Came across a nice 2016 Model with 6th year extended CNC warranty till Sep 2022 going for 197k - Mileage at 70k

Been informed to prepare at least 20% or 30% down-payment which may seem a little steep considering the 3.x interest for used card summore.

Is it more sensible to consider a Recon unit for circa 215k and enjoy possible 90% loan and lower interest? better cash flow this way but are Recon units risky? (for some reason the thought that someone adjusted with mileage meter already not favourable in my mind)

Anyone know more about buying extended warranty within 49-60 mth period? seems like it can be done subjected to inspection at own cost, cooling off period and insurer approval.. worth it? found some units just ended their 4 year warranty last 1-2 months... if can buy and extend warranty (seems like CNC would outsource to insurer like Allianz) still seems like a piece of mind?

Yes, 2-door coupe or sport type model usually bank will not loan high except your financial is strong or got certain background with the bank.
The most is around 70%~80% of the car value.

Seems like you're looking for something with a chic design, and are looking for brands which are a bit more upmarket (Mazda, Mini) to a Luxury Brand (Mercedes).

Appearance is subjective, but personally given your budget, I'd take the mini cooper SE. It looks good, it's upmarket, it's fun to drive, and it's electric.

Hi, any owner of C200 coupe ? Have you encounter any problems with the car ?
How’s the reliability?

I’m planning to get used 2016 C200 coupe. The mileage is about 50k, he’s selling it for 200k. What do you guys think?

Speed wise, I would say the difference is not noticible.... as you are not racing everyday...
function, W206 much better.

Uh, I'm not sure where you're getting this pricing from but I don't think that's correct... Maybe the dealership will try to charge those prices for out-of-warranty cars, but from other sources an Airmatic strut for the front should be ~RM5k and for the rear should be ~RM3k.

Hi, I decided to give it a pass and look for brand new car instead. It’s a beautiful however, given the age, my presumption would be it wouldn’t last long so I might as well save myself the headache of going to workshop and buy a brand new car.

I was looking at the new GLE past couple of days. My SA told me to wait because at least 50% of those who bought the new CKD version faced problem with the mild hybrid system.

If you intend to get Merc used car, stick with HSS pre-certified range. At least, comes with extended warranty and all parts replaced are original from MB. Shortly, after viewing the GLE, I went over to their pre-certified showroom at Bandar Kinrara to take a look and most of the models left are either sold or booked by customers. Left few models remaining. Give them a call to see there's stock for your desired model.

Look around at Carbase for bargain and comparison. Here you see a C300 Coupe with low mileage.
