I noticed a lot people complaining about "strawberry" and acted like one without solving the case.

Definition of strawberry: People who "bruise easily" like strawberries – meaning they cannot withstand social pressure or work hard like their parents' generation;

Come and contribute some ideas / advices for our future generation.


I'll start with a few advices, feel free to add on:
- Be respectful and professional to all roles be it CEO or Cleaner.
- It's okay not to know something, but give it a try to find out then seek for help.
- Avoid setting expectation on others, they will very much likely to fail you. Instead set expectation on oneself and make sure you are doing a good job.
- Human will make mistakes. Resolve it, learn from it and move on.
- Avoid one-off or partial solution, coz it will come back and haunt us. Go for permanent solution to fully solve it.

- Don’t go around offering unsolicited advise

Be humble and respectful. Don't project yourself as an expert when you are not.

Have some common sense, some manners and some ethics.

To add; don't be egoistic, and challenge orders/instructions just becoz your ego tercabar. Think logically!
Know that it takes time to learn and hone skills, you don't know "everything" aight?
Apply 2-3 layers of filter before talking/texting/writing.

1. Professional means you are able to consistently deliver results no matter the situation.

2. If your boss scolds you for X reason, show up for work tomorrow anyway.

3. For freash grads/entry level, learn how to use the photostat machine. Try to be more efficient each and everytime you use. Explore the functions as if it's your bodypart.

potato: don't overdo yourself

banana: just nail the difference between chicken rice and street rice (Cantonese)

strawberry: responsibility is key. Own up to your mistake - the fact that you did it, and what you're gonna to fix it, and how you will avoid doing that again. It's nothing personal.

Don't steal other people's credit - especially in front of them.

nothing comes easy. if u want it, work for it. (this advice doesn't apply to all the current Ministers)

No need advice strawberries cause they will not listen until they make mistake.

Personally I think 'strawberries' usually don't listen to advise, and they always have their POV.

Rarely agree to disagree on ANYTHING at all.
