Wanted to check if this can support the weight above. Will be putting one sofa bed, few book shelves, computer table, chair etc. Practically a study room for me.

Coming from the contractor it's using 2X4 Hollow steel, not sure of the thickness but he mentioned maybe 1.6 or 2.6?

The sides are bolted to the wall and the rest are welded together. Will it come tumbling down if the things above are too heavy or if I jump like a monkey?

Supposedly should be calculated before installation.
Eg. total load (dead, live and safety factor) = 750kg?
If each bolt/plug carries 50kg then 15 bolts. (different bolt size different bearing capacity)
Since the frame is already installed you have to work backwards.

Those hollow steels don't seem to install to wall beams.
Can you show us some photos of how they bolt those hollow steels to the walls?

This is how my loteng is bolted to the wall beam with an L-steel bar which are then welded to the hollow steels.
