Wooden fencing is not for Malaysia. Our climate is too wet and damp and causes the wood to rot.

To slow down this process, you need to use high quality wood that will cost you a fortune (chengal, etc).

Either you are using high quality wood, or you must have painted it so much that it no longer look like wood.
