 Coin Laundry Business, is it getting worse?

i remember last two or three year every month pop a new coin laundry shop.

But now seem keep closing down one by one, actually what happen? is it not earning anymore?

Or public user no more like to use public coin laundry?

most probably too many same kind of shop chasing a limited number of people in the same neighbourhood.
i guess that business model has matured....

coin laundry actually not making money. most of them is agreement sign between shop owner and laundry machine supplier. to have profit share.
and the owner forgo rent and opt on profit sharing.
once sign agreement. they will have to fulfill the partnership for years.

but some really make money.. but not much
if you cannot rent out your shop... why not...

hmm maybe not really. because using those machine is they cant afford to buy a (Big)washine machine with dryer so if every week wash a cloth (RM10) is affordable for them.
Or some of people they rented room, their house got limited space to jemur all housemate baju, so they rather take to coin laundry wash and dry. easy.

mco has caused many people like myself to buy their own washing machine. since during march to april last year coin laundry cannot be opened

More like MCO1 killed the business survival...

And added competition....
Not forgetting.... The main market is mostly college & university student... Since all closed down... Well back to point 1, which is MCO1 killed everything ☺️
