Hi,

I just got a Lenovo legion 5 pro 16. I'm be using it mostly in non air conditioned environment, and I notice that it got rather hot after using for 2 hours.

Is it necessary to get a cooling pad, anyone has experience?

Thanks.

Do you use an external keyboard? Otherwise I think it will be uncomfortable typing on the laptop on top of cooling pad?

I have a laptop fan bought from Sri Computer that I'm not using. It was RM38.00. Tried once, didnt feel like the cooling is sufficient enough. You can have it for free if you want. PM me for location to pickup.

Hi, thanks for the offer. After I've set to use CPU instead of GPU in the Nvidia settings, laptop didn't heat up. I may just try to reset to GPU to test it out. I don't play games anyway.

I've also got feedback from my friend using MacBook that his cooler is not really cooling things down.

So, thanks again for the offer, I'll just pass. Maybe others might want it.

I set to Quiet Mode, CPU around 35 celcius in non air con room when not gaming. But I'm using IETS 300 cooler.
When gaming CPU around 50-70 depending on games.
