I had been looking around to get one just now. Either, they are out of stock and don't dare to get the new batch as they can't be modded. Or, if they have old stock, US ver cost RM 1700 and Jap ver cost 1400. Damn I hate thos business man. I want to get a unmodded one but they don't carry.

i am just surprised ppl still ask about the price. this whole thread is informing all of u that i bought the us version mod for 1250...u still want to consider 999 for jap and still asking where to get cheaper us mod...haro??

anyway..the warranty given to me was 1 year with one to one swap within one week of purchase

i know there are lots of way to know which modchip you are using,but im not really clear.
one of the way is to play supermariogalaxy(same region) and see it works or not.

go to find the topic about working game using d2ckey and try them out yourself.

i haven't got yet...last time my dad nearly bought for me,but my mom stood out and reprimanded me,saying i'm spendthrift and so i was rooted and silenced.But i'm still determined and finally have convinced my mother,and now i'm waiting my father to make payment by bank in,but dono when will he pay,i think most probably due to financial constraint at the moment,so i will wait.
