any ktard ate this famous woo pin fish head noodle shop back when they were still in original location at the pangsapuri/low cost flat in cheras? i remember around 2007 time when they suddenly famous, RM6 for big bowl of fish head noodle, and that time the family are still running the shop fully, so the man was the chef, then the ladies handled orders etc.

so many people wait to eat until have to eat inside the flat courtyard area infront of people front door. now expensive already and taste not there (like something missing) since most of their outlet the cooking and serving all outsource to foreigner already

RM12 per bowl last i went

taman desa one RM13/RM14 small/big already, went 1 month or two back

i order from grabfood every now and then. there's one in intermark kl. still ok, now they have pork noodles.

RM12 in Seri Kembangan. Taste ok. but last round i try the fish macam tak masak..makan weird weird..then found 1 of the stall in kopitiam sell exactly same taste but at cheaper price RM8

last time when the owners were still running the kitchen the broth is very rich and everything is very fresh, fish paste also can taste the fish liddat, soup got the sourness and tangy feel from the zap choy and tomato

Still the main branch taste authentic.

Those other branches all can't replicate the taste.

I still remember it was rm6 when I was staying in Tmn Desa. The price would increase every year and by the time I left kl 4 years later. It was RM 9 per bowl.

Brought my Korean uni friend there before, he say for the side dish it's the most authentic one he ate in all of malaysia, the closest to actual one In Korea.

Really ah, haven't been to main branch in long time, past few times ate all the other branch. Maybe will go back and try some time soon

Feel like alot of these shops once they go big they keep taking advantage to raise price (like chilli pan mee also) to chase profit and hire foreigners to take over and it lose the magic touch/kung-fu, very sad to see they should put more effort to preserve the methods of their cooking and taste as much as possible like all those Japanese noodle stores

Before covid went during weekday lunch like half dead, compared to all the chicken rice & pork noodle shops in the same square

I mean the fish head noodle , the Korean restaurant I can say is top 3 Korean restaurant in Mal.

oh. its not bad but the taste only about 80% compare to how i tasted the original years ago. but some ktard here say the original branch in cheras still got the quality but i havent try yet

in terms of fish head noodle wise, the original one is one of the best one i ate, really like their broth and they were very generous with ingredients

Never tried Woo Pin. For fishhead noodles, I usually go to Winsoon at Kuchai Lama but their standard kinda dropped. Another one is at Choykei kopitiam at Happy Garden.
