im in the same bot like u, im trying to find a portable gaming monitor, and the best option is the asus one,

the problem is, i read alot of bad review from reddit, amazon and some youtube comment about bad quality control

- dead pixel
- stuck pixel
- screen break easily
- monitor have problem to turn on after use of several months

if it was around 1.5k, i would certainly roll the dice, but for a 2.4k++, i dont think it would worth the risk

i think the next best option is the uperfect one, i also eyeing that one, or the eyoyo 17.3 144 one

but since uperfect is the better brand, plus they also focus more on monitor, i would certainly choose uperfect

oof, sounds really scary. shopee review also got 1 dead on arrival. for a premium price but really bad qoc. mannnn i just about to yolo this one. i cant keep carrying 24 inch monitor back and forth even with my sff. still stuck to figure which one to choose bro. might just get 2nd high refresh rate monitor for this but a portable monitor with everything else in a big camera bag as carrying case, its what i dream for.

just buy the uperfect one, believe me, u wont regret it, i guess most of the problem with the asus one is related to battery one, since it have one built in,

but uperfect 15.6 144hz dont have one, so it shouldnt have the same problem

iv been using the asus monitor so far for my portable setup going back and forth from the hospital i work in. I would say for the past 8 months its been a great edition in terms of performance but the price was definitely one of the major points I would not recommend it.

here ya go, the monitor is great. no dead pixel no backlight bleed. though the package got ripped by customs i think luckily item not stolen or anything. 1 thing seller didnt include is the leather case which advertised as "free gift". i wouldn't mind it tho, because i didnt see any case build for this fold style monitor like g story models. paid 1250 during 10.10 instead 1400. now i can go with 1 bag with everything lets go!!!

ya its beast for the size. watch gamer nexus review on youtube its on par with the highest tier gaming monitor, though my peanut pc not gonna perform above 200fps so i skimp down abit. bought the uperfect monitor just to fits my need. check out the pic i post.

any sifu can recommend me affordable 15 inch portable monitor for samsung dex usage. This is for light surfing and occasionally microsoft excel. If its too expensive might as well get a budget laptop.

ya im kinda digging it. while gaming compare to my asus monitor 3ms is barely noticeable. if u ask how about the build its made of metal frame but plastic body, not cheap plastic though. the cables is abit short 1 meter i think yet really high quality.
