In you opinion, what is the best money can buy camera out there in the market at the moment? In terms of functions/price/user friendly/professional usage. Probably this will help buyers to find the best camera suited to their preference and use.

very hard to say. every user has different importance when purchasing camera. shooting in daylight, outdoor, indoor? compact, mid, or fullsize? etc

i can even suggest Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III and Nikon D3?

Before we continue further with this thread, it is best that the TS be a little more detailed and specific in his/her requirements as this thread will definitely get bashed based on the replies I have seen so far.

Agreed with Mavik. Who knows if he /she just want a simple camera for traveling use and just for snaps family pics.
And anyway, still it depends on different ppls own taste and opinion and what they actually want.

that'll help you narrow down your choices.

there's no such thing as what is the best money can buy camera out there and i don't think how this is going to help buyers to find the best camera suited to their preference and use.

every camera has it's pros and cons.

for example - Olympus, Pentax and Sony DSLR users are few in this country BUT they're still great cameras.
