Mipad android widget is worst than huawei. Nothing inside. Miui half baked product.

For tablets, just get the ipad and use for years. Won't regret.

I hv android tablets in the past. They just don’t last as long as iPad. Not smooth to my liking. My ipad mini 4 already 6 years, still usable but a bit lagging now. Well, mini 6 is there for the replacement now.

My ipad mini first gen still working.

I use my iPad mini 2 since 2014. And it’s still working now albeit just mainly for Netflix Disney etc.

Today I went to the mall to test out the mi pad 5 demo unit vs iPad Air 4 and mini 6...to my surprise the mi pad 5 is really good and feels faster in scrolling and flipping, mainly coz of the 120hz refresh rate....but one thing for sure lacking is the screen not as clear as both the iPads..for 1399 though I would say xiaomi’s made some kickass tabs...however not sure about 2-3 years down the road..Apple has the record of holding it much better even after 5-6 years while android hmmm...

also worth to take note that the mi pad 5 might have a more durable housing/body compare to the ipad mini's aluminium (it's also much heavier than the mini anyway), which has smaller chance for bend gate issues

mi pad 5 UI is garbage. After 1 year your mi pad is pretty useless. You will not get update monthly.
