Update - officially false positive, did another same self-test at 6am (1hr after brush teeth, no food or drink) neg and then PCR from yesterday evening came back negative this morning. Thankfully they process super fast. Gonna bin all these tests. Rather go clinic do PCR so no doubt at all.

Your rubbish bin is covid positive.

As for yourself, you can go for other brand test kit or PCR as suggested by KuzumiTaiga

I tried the same brand kit next morning, negative. But dare not upload or scan their qr code in app. Awful accuracy.

That's what i was trying to do. Unfortunately the kit has their own app that you scan qr code, take pic of results and the AI/admin will detect whether it is positive or negative. They say it would auto update mysejahtera. I entered in mysej as negative as no line on T only C, but yet the kit app says i was positive ... so no choice lah go get PCR spend $170 cause PCR will override the (false) self-test results. When you do the 'upload' to mysej it is just a q&a with the helpdesk interface there is no confirmation, upload of pictures or even have to name the kit. Kind of odd.

Family also freaked out over these false-positive test kits, tried multiple times even.

Can share the brand? Need to stockpile korean ones.

Good SOP, perhaps can consider need to go brush teeth before test considering chemical reaction from the toothpaste

Follow directions, no food drink or brush teeth 30 min but i did 1hr plus no food/drink. Don't really trust them esp that brand. Heard even orange juice can alter results. Other brand ok since they don't auto report once u scan qr.

Wow that cheap.. the lowest I check around rm13 from pharmacy. I kinda scare buying test kit from online unknown seller. Too make counterfeit stuff out there.

Don't want to name it but one can probably guess based on details. I only tried 2 kits of theirs - one false positive (wasted $170 to do PCR afterwards plus the emotional turmoil lol) and one negative the next day. Have tried other company kits that are saliva only, no problem. It's a kit sold to consumers at pharmacies/online.
