I am planning to replace my Ipad Air 2 with a new ipad, hoping it could help me in my daily work/maintenance. My requirement is as per say

1. Able to do sketches/drawing
2. Able to do coding for website
3. Adobe Creative supports

My purpose for this Ipad is for entertainment / work when i am outside. I am leaning towards Ipad Pro for the M1 Chip

but if i were to purchase the latest Macbook for work, is considering an Ipad Air / Ipad works as well for travel and light edits?

i m thinking of this too but most probably will go for MBP 14" next month coz i use VS CODE a lot and i need a good keyboard. I ll just use my big iPhone for entertainment or maybe the cheap iPad with Pencil 1 for sketching.

is ipad pro only limited to mirroring to do dev related activities? so far didnt hear VSCODE support for Ipad, but not discounting the future possibilities with M1.

If budget is not an issue then the iPad Pro is the best, not necessarily the latest M1, even 3rd gen iPad Pro (2018) is good enough for most tasks...alternatively iPad Air 4 get things done pretty well too....if you want mobility then the new mini 6 is pretty handy but not as powerful as the ipad pro’s..
