Hi folks,

I'm looking for recommendation for clothes hanging rack for outdoors.

Now the trend is buying online, but would like some personal recommendation.

I went to a hardware shop, they had a really flimsy W rack for RM280!!!

Appreciate if anyone can share if they bought any decent rack online. Budget can be around RM200, as long as it is solid and long lasting, preferably foldable. This will be placed at my condo balcony (space not an issue, as balcony is larger than average).

Thanks!

I have searched, only see wall and ceiling mounted threads. Since I have the floorspace on my balcony, I would like suggestions for a floor rack (with wheels, and preferably collapsable).

From experience staying in landed previously, those 10 bars W foldable wheelie transformer types tend to fail because they were made out of iron, so weak points at the iron bolts and limiter flat bars..then the golf ball wheels also rust..hanging pipes also rust. Basically a freaking waste of moneh for a rustbucket.

Subsequently we inherited a (wall mounted) SS one from previous owner and still going strong. Since 1997 to-date.

Then added on capacity (long dresses and jeans need the height) using the cheap ikea hanging open frame. About 30 bucks each only. No wheels but load capacity confirm fully overloaded no problem. It does eat up space when not in use because of the base makes it less suitable to stack.

If you want a wheelie transformer go stainless steel (SS); won't be cheap, but it will last you a long time.

I’m using this drying rack. Really happy with it. Stable solid and still in great conditions after two years of heavy use. I think some cheap stainless steel ones are flimsy. Bought for 160.
