Hi sifus, please advice me it is ok if I install 205/55/r16 instead of my original size 215/55/r16.

My car civic 1.8s got weird size, most of the popular tyres don't have size 215/55r16. Example for Michelin PS4, only got 205/55r16

If I change to 205/55r16, will my handling effected? Or maybe it is better stick with original size.

Are you sure it was 215/55 not 215/50? Are your rims 7jj width? If so I'd suggest 225/50/16 so got PS4.

Based on my experience better stick with the tyre size meant for the rim, pernah use thicker tyre 215 instead of 205 breaking distance lari bit.

Bro, look at the sticker beside the door or your manual book for original size tire. If your engine, suspension & sport rim is still original better stick to original tire size.

Any tire shop also can get the size just you need to confirm and order with them. Usually got stock from main distributor within 1 week can reach. Most of my tires also order as i dont use those normal models selling in tire shop. You need to know your budget, driving preference (Prefer Comfort or Sporty driving) then decide which to go.
