Hi, I'm planning to get a new monitor, due to the space restriction, 27 inch would be the option, prefer 2k resolution, IPS.
90% uses for work and programming, only 10% for youtube and media. (planning to get console or gaming pc setup in future)

Currently aiming at benq ex2780q, whats the bonus from this model is the built in speaker, where i can save desk space.

so would like to get your advise on it, is this model good option or whats your suggestion for alternate model

whats your budget?

Edit: If going for gaming in the future, why not buy a gaming monitor to prepare for it? By that time ur pc spec should be enough for 2k monitor 144hz

Do you need to turn the monitor to portrait for programming? This benq can't rotate, swivel and has no height adjustment. Otherwise, it is a pretty decent monitor.

Build in monitor speakers are usually of low quality so there's no point buying a monitor based on this features icon_idea.gif
Go for regular speakers or headphones instead if you can icon_idea.gif

https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/benq-ex2780q/

It uses an Innolux panel, which can be found on some monitors like the Aorus AD27QD (but response times are not very good) icon_idea.gif

For the same price the VG27AQ (not the cut down VG27AQL1A) is better:

Doesn't required to be portrait, plan to use monitor arm to hold it
