Hi, im 21 year old, currently studying at Public university (next month October will be my 3rd sem), accounting degree student. Im university student but never get to go to uni (my sem 1 & 2 via online🥲 because Covid-19 ). So excited to actually be a university student next sem . Right now i want to make monthly expenses budget but couldn’t find any article, i cant ask my senior since I don’t know any of them because online class😂.

Hopefully someone can share their expenses budget as a uni student or share any tips to save money as a student

University monthly budget
1. Food ?
2. House rent ?
3. Transportation ( grab or if drive car fuel)
4. Book / stationery / photostat
5. Saving -rm100
6. Emergency fund -rm100

Is there any other expenses i need to put for my budget?

😂😂😂

reminiscent of my college and uni days where i spent most of my money on alcohol , some illegal hard stuffs, cigarettes, night clubs and gaming. i also do spent so much money on foods though and the least for study stuffs.

mind you my situation was so bad in my degree days in Auckland, Nz that i eventually dropped out 😂😂.

1)Food - If your student accommodation can cook then cook your own meal. Cheaper. If too busy assignments and all, just dabao vegies/meat only and cook your own rice.

2) Can't comment because that's your luck whether u can find cheaper accommodation on your own.

3) Transport - I ride motor, FC low. Every 1 and a half week pump Rm10 oil.

4) Book - go libgen try find got or not first, free digital copies in the form of pdf. Stationary and photostat is dependant on your uni, my campus got printing shop which offers discount if print in bulks.

5) & 6) - none, you need emergency fund for what? Being a student got what kind of emergency? PC rosak or car broke down shit like that?
