Hi guys, I am planning to sign up maxis zerolution for Iphone 13 pro, I searched through the FAQ, there is no info regarding will I be owning the phone after the 24th month. For the old zerolution 360, the phone will be automatically be mine after the 30th month, so is it the same for the current zerolution package?

My dad bought 3 phones in Maxis Zerolution. As lesson if you had credit card do get installment plan in authorize dealers like switch machines. Or get cash just buy it. Not worthy to get tied up wit 24 months with higher plan. Instead of saving you actually pay more than actual device price

Answer for your question Yes after 24 months you own the phone. It’s your property

zerolution 360 is a scam, just stick with zerolution if you really wants an installment. but anyhow if you got use the plan of 128, the upfront is a better deal. but i heard that zerolution need to see tier. if you are at lower tier you will needed to pay some downpayment as well. bruce.gif bruce.gif

After tenure you suppose tor return the device, if not, they will extend another month, then the device is yours.

Zerolution 360 does not apply for iPhone. Samsung got.

i just check in Maxis Website

for Zerolution RM128 plan
iPhone 12 Pro Max 256GB
RM207/month x 24 months = RM4,968

from Machines Malaysia
same mode same spec = RM5,199

so i guess Maxis still save a little?

But that less RM200 is covered by Maxis Postpaid plan. That’s why Maxis Digi giving phones in low prices since they get 5% profit for 24months with Zerolution or PhoneFreedom365
For 2 years you was forced to pay price that launched in Day 1 is kinda wasting your value of your phone.

Well, if we look at 2 person walk into the store n purchase the same item on day 1. Any difference?
Difference is the one pay with cash or pay total amount is getting more expensive compare to the telco unit.
The thing he or she gain is the freedom of changing telco or plan.

What if you are the one, using the plan of RM128 per month, whether you buying a phone from telco, you still pay RM128 per month. Nothing change. So I don't really get the 5% profit thing.

Unless you are comparing the day 1 person buy with telco with the one that buy with hard cash on the last day of phone model.

End of the day is ultimate is your money. Yes not everyone able pay cash for one product. Back then I felt like Maxis Digi contract phones are really beneficial but now kinda expensive maybe due to phone price I guess.

The new Zerolutions terms states that u must return the unit.
You will need to pay another month if u want the device.

Zerolutions 360 , the device is yours when terms end.

Mine is ending in Dec 21. I have checked and planning to get a new phone but the range Maxis provide nowadays, no worthy upgrade (ever since Huawei died )other than Samsung and iPhone.
No Pixel also.

Thanks.
Are you currently under Zerolution?

Well, I really hope they changed that clause because I don't feel like paying additional month as stated in the revised agreement.

Do we really need credit card during checking when using zerolution plan for ip13 pre order? Even if the amount to pay is 0. ? If the record is good, there will be no downpayment required.

Would you be able to help since you have experience:

say,

Postpaid 128/month - mobile plan
iphone 13 pro 256 Zerolution is 191/month

So, monthly bill will be 128 + 191, but they collected an upfront amount of RM2880.

1. How does that work? the 2880 will be rebated through monthly bills right?
2. Is there a risk that the phone will be blocked, like the traditional Zerolution 360 people tak bayar and sell the phone, the buyer suffer when seller decided not to pay

If it's a Zerolution plan, why need to pay upfront payment? This doesn't make any sense. If need upfront payment then it's a normal contract, just with subsidized phone price but you're tied to 2 year contract, that's all.

At this point, with that RM2880 you're better off topup a few hundred more and get the normal contract.

Zerolution used to be about walking in to the store, get the phone, sign your name, then walk out. As easy as that.

I don't know when did Maxis came up with this bull.

Not worth to pay upfront if it's Zerolution.

With normal contract, you have to get installment using EPP from credit card.

I guess, for Zerolution, they bundle it with the plan....I also confused.
