Prices for iPhone 11 and 12 models in Malaysia have been reduced following the launch of the latest model iPhone 13.

A check on the Apple Malaysia website revealed that the iPhone 11 with 6.1in display and rear dual-camera setup is now priced at RM2,399 for the 64GB model and RM2,599 for the 128GB model.

It was originally priced at RM3,399 (64GB) and RM3,599 (128GB) when it was released in 2019.

Other iPhone 11 models such as the Pro with 5.8in display and Pro Max with 6.5in display – both with rear triple-camera setup – are no longer listed as available on the Apple Malaysia website. Instead they are listed as “available at authorised resellers”.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 mini with 5.4in display is now priced at RM2,899 (64GB), RM3,099 (128GB) and RM3,599 (256GB).

When the model was released in 2020, it was priced at RM3,399 for the 64GB model, RM3,599 (128GB) and RM4,099 (256GB).

The iPhone 12 with 6.1in display is now priced at RM3,399 (64GB), RM3,599 (128GB) and RM4,099 (256GB).

At launch, the iPhone 12 was priced at RM3,899 (64GB), RM4,099 (128GB) and RM4,599 (256GB).

Both the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 mini feature a rear dual-camera setup, while the other two models – namely the Pro with 6.1in display and Pro Max with 6.7in display – are no longer listed as available on the website.

Apple has announced the release of the new iPhone 13 with four variants – the mini with a 5.4in display starting at RM3,399; the iPhone 13 with 6.1in display from RM3,899; the Pro with 6.1in display from RM4,899 and the Pro Max with 6.7in display from RM5,299.

Its priciest model is the iPhone 13 Pro Max with 1TB storage priced at RM7,599.

Not for the 11. For the 12 vs the 13, if the discount is RM700 or more then I’d say it could be worth considering.

It’s funny that people in Malaysia will buy iPhone 12 or 13 when our country still don’t have 5G connectivity.

In year 2021 buy IP11 still a debatable good choice.

But in year 2022, it's gonna be different story. Better buy a 5G ready phone especially since you're paying over RM2k for it.

it will come, I bought my ip5 when there's no 4G

and as early adopter, you get to enjoy a less congested network till market is saturated with cheap phones on same modem band as your phone.

Haha, icloud is sync solutions. You don’t need to delete anything from your iphone and the phone will manage it by itself.

You can get more detail from apple website

I think 5G is not popular for few years in Malaysia. Ip11 should be a good choice . Price to value quite high.

Well people aren't upgrading for 5g, it's more like for bigger battery, bigger screen 6.1" vs 5.8", better spec, smaller notch and better camera.

The thing is IPhone 12 is only 500 cheaper might as well just get the latest.

I'm upgrading for bigger space, since I've finally hit 90% of storage usage. (upgraded from 64GB when it hit 90% as well)
And timing is perfect because battery life improved on 13 mini to almost on par as 11. Smaller notch means screen looks bigger on mini

Didn't really even consider 5G as a reason.

Why not the Pro? I want a mini. Why a mini? Everybody say mini is small. Actually the mini has a 5.4" screen. iPhone 8 Plus back then only had 5.5" screen! I want it for ergonomics. And apart from the screen size and battery life, it performs just as well as the 13, with the same camera. It is mighty in a tiny package. And rumor has it the mini won't make it past this year.

There are plenty of features with new iPhones, 5G is just one of them smile.gif
We buy the phone for majority of the other features, not because of the 5G.

Besides, most Android flagship phones are also 5G capable. Just like you buy a laptop with Wireless 6 capability but home router is still Wi-Fi 5.
