I waited for the s22 to come out and a a little dissapointed with what I'm reading on chip and performance. Contemplating the iphone 13.

I am on s10e and guess will not know difference on 60hz. Though my wife has the 13 pro and she loves the battery life ..I on the other hand...prefer something light and to be honest, hers is just heavy as fuk. I like single hand operation and though I carry weightz I tend to cycle and leave my phone on my back pocket. It's heavy that my jersey is stretching!

So will be going down to maxis later to grab the 13.

Yes just got my ip13 at maxis subang parade in black. Tomorow hunt for cheap screen protector and casing and set it up and transfer shits over the weekend.


I refuse to see my wife ip13 pro....later get hooked but the weight of ip13 is really unacceptable. She also complain sometime tangan lenguh if hold one hand in bed.l and it had slip and hit her head once.


13 is practical but the 13pro camera bump look more premium with the rounded camera holes etc and glassy finish compared to plain 13.

What software do you recommend ? My wife iphone 13 many photos haven't transfer using sycn.

Nice. My use case is a little diff. I never buy phone more than 6.1 inch. Anything around 5.8 to 6.1 is great for me. Iphone 13 fit the bill....13 pro is too heavy.

Guys any case to recommend that is curved?

The complete flat iPhone is digging into my fingers that I find it not so egronomic with or without silicon case (ciplak 15 ringgit) one

The complete flat bottom and rear forms a sharp edge that digs into my finger and think if anyone has suggestion on a case that is curved to help alleviate this

Get 13. Bang for buck. 1k less than pro but I feel the 120hz no impact to me since I never use it before and the telephoto lense is not so important to me. What is important it’s lighter

My 13 without screen protector
Screen feel so slick and smooth so didn’t bother with sp. My casing has raised edges so will help protect it from breaks when fall but since the screen is super tough I decide not to use sp. Have not been using sp on all 2 on my previous 2 phones ( p20pro and galaxy s10e). No issue if you don’t keep keys and phone together

Is this still applicable ? I was reading ios 14 already limit overnight charging to 100 percent. It will stop charging and if go down 99 it will charge again so you always get 100 percent when you unplug

Many contradicting theory but i usually charge when it reach 20 percent to 100 percent

By the way just ordered nomad modern case to replace my ciplak silicon case for aim of grtting a good patina

The nomad case feels so damn supple compared to apple leather case but too bad it doesnt go around the borders ( guess leather will tear or kopek if its dropped)

Paid 260 for it from nomad official store - my most expensive case in history but looking at keeping the phone for alteast 3 years

Noted so this feature will trickle charge after 80 percent but that means we can hit 100 percent anyway right

There is also cycle charge like if you use up to 40 percent, when you plug in and charge to 100 percent, that is not considered 1 charge cycle. One cycle is deemed that that when you hit 60 percent after that 100 percent charge and you recharge another 40 percent, that is considered one cycle charge

You mean casing ? Just got my nomad modern case. Far more superior leather feel than apple case. Love it

I use those sanitizer spray for the case. Once a few days will spray or spray immediately if i go out from home to public area and touch public things

Once a month will wash down the case with soap and apply a layer of virgin coconut oil and let it dry in the sun. Will give it a nice patina which is the only reason i get leather.

Leather will last few years no worries probably the lifetime of your phone. Only when you drop it then it get scratches etc but to me its ok..part of the character.

No problem so far with soap. After all we use it on our skinz just need to apply virgin coconut oil or learher care product after wash should be ok

Infact after apply coconut oil, you dry under sun for 15 mins, it feels more grippier and supple

Im not sure if its me but my battery seem to be longer. It drops slower than before when i see tiktok

Will do a full charge today and monitor sot til tomorow but this feels gooding yo


Update : charged my phone to 100 percent yesterday 11am and its now 20 percent remaining so probably another 1 to 2 hours.

Battery life has improved

I moved from pro to non pro.

Really cannot tahan the phone weight. Gave the pro to my wife and got the normal 13. No regret. Battery life more or less the same but the weight and feel in my hand is better


Mini was an option but for me gamble la so decided the 13 instead

I dont use casing anymore So far ok just oily hand. Every 2 days wash with dettol soap to kill germs

Mine 1 year 3 months battery around 91%

I will charge anytime I can. Usually around 20 % mark to full but I leave it overnight coz malas want to unplug

So far battery is good and no issues

Will change the battery when it become 80 percent which I predict another 1.5 years
