Iphone 13 pro max supports max of 27w charge, the 13 is lower, if not mistaken it’s max charge is 20w (can’t confirm on the w but definitely lower than 27w)
Just join club from Iphone XR to IP13 since 2018. XR was lovely phone especially the battery ( minus the signal drop issue/weak signal sometimes ) and still no lag whatsoever. Last stay on IOS 14.7
Grab a IP13 blue on Switch. Take their promotion installment with free 1 year extended warranty for hsbc/sc/uob card. Definitely a good deal.
Nice upgrade there! Yes the 1 year free apple care extension is definitely a good deal..you could have taken up the protection plan too, that covers accidental damage for 200-300 bucks additional..
since the cable comes with usb C, i charge with macbook pro only. should be ok?
Yes it’s ok to use MacBook’s charging brick on the iPhone..just that you don’t get the same w as you do on the MacBook..this one caps at 20w (or 23w)..
Bought brand new 2.4k from Switch today. Traded in SE2020, got more than I expected because of some promotion.
Anyway, is okay to leave the old phone to Switch staff? I mean, can I trust them they will wipe clean the old iphone that I traded in? I got this nagging feeling that I just did big mistake didn't do the cleanup myself or watch them reset the phone in front of me.
The staff there helped me did the data transfer inside the shop, then when finished I straight go home. Even the old iphone casing I also forgot to take with me.

Went back to the store same day, just an hour later. They already throw away the casing. So I take that he must have already wiped clean the phone because seems like they're following some kind of strict SOP.
Always a risk there, since nothing can be done now, I suggest sending them an email just to be sure the data has been completely wiped off, of course with the staff’s name, serves as a report for future reference.
my last exchange with the staff before leaving the store was, he asked me to double confirm if i have anything i want to save from the old phone because he's about to reset the phone. i can see he's already have some sort of RFiD sticker ready too for the phone possibly for inventory. would be nice if he ask me to stay to supervise the resetting process.
mistake on my end too because i was too nervous at that time. first time spending this much for a phone.
yea it happens, sometimes we just get distracted over stuffs…but I think should be fine coz they are reputable and have strict policy, not any small shops etc…
They have replied. Gave me some photos of the phone and hello screen and said all data has been wiped. Seems like the phone is set to be recycled I think. Didnt say my data is safe not compromised, just assurance that phone is now reset already. Oh well, dont think the staff would do any shady things since the shop is busy with customers.
Just a reminder to do backup/reset yourself.
yea, thats great... at this point, i think any assurance is good..
