Hey guys, want to know your charging behaviour. Normally when you charge your phone? Under 20%? And you prefer it to change until 100% or 90%?

Heard myth that if we charge it to 100%, the battery will go Kong faster. Is it true?

Anyone here ever switched from iPhone 12 to 13 mini? I’m actually a big fan of having small phone with high spec so previously gotten myself 12 mini but the battery just isn’t enough and forced me to sell it off and get 12 instead. This year, I’m not sure if 13 mini will burn me again if I go this route

I own 4s, 6 and XR before.

Always leaving it overnight on charging.

After 4 years, the battery health roughly around 85% except 4s as i dont know health battery that time.

You can try to always charge before it hits 20% and try plugging off at 70% but maybe the diff in battery health around 1/2%. Maybe.

If u think its worth the effort on daily basis, to check the battery on minutes basis, by all means go ahead. This above advise was purely based on my experience on iOS

Actually I tried this with my iPhone 11 whereby I charge it before 20% and stop charging when it reach 90%+++ and after 2 years, the battery health reached 90%. I think beside this method, I think it affect the battery health greatly if you use a super fast charger. Battery will die even more faster. Correct me if I am wrong..

Probably yes. For the iP 13, I am using super fast charger now. Don wanna jinx but so far still 100% after almost two months using the phone. But i agreed with you, maybe got long term effect later on batt health

Just joined 13 Mini gang! hehe, hopefully battery will be ok. "downgrading" from 11 pro for a smaller phone

You can say overall 13 mini perform similar to 12 if not better but definitely not worsen than 12. Previously using 12 mini and find x3 pro.

iPhone 13 is still a fairly new model, i'll be surprised if they have refurbished models available now.

new? it's already >3 months since released in Sg. I'm sure they have tons of newly refurbished set now.

I’m not sure if that’s true. Based on gsmarena I can see if you start using phone calls then iPhone 12 is more long lasting since it has bigger battery.
