Seems is storage limitation. prores take up a lot of space. Almost 100gb fopr 10 min video

You still get pro res. Just limited to 1080p 30 fps, as opposed to full 4k for the higher memory

I feel you bro. Using mate 20 pro currently and the camera/video quality dropped noticeably since last update. Even s21 ultra I heard they need wait few updates only get good camera experience.

I would trust apple to make a more reliable update now. Also thinking of jumping to ios for the first time. Of course I appreciate android's freedom and openness. But I feel ios is not too constricted in that regard.

Can anyone list some things that totally cannot be done on ios but can be done on android? Perhaps this can help make decision...

In mate 20 pro I can literally feel the camera processing became very weird. The pictures and videos doesn't look nice anymore.

Even removed my lens protector to check but still same. The performance still ok. That's why I'm thinking very hard whether to jump or not.

But iPhone flat screen is very appealing to me

Since ultrawide no issue, doubt it is a lens/coating issue.. Unlikely apple make one lens good and the other 2 inferior. So means software/processing problem?

But the ultrawide quality at lowlight seems terrible

You could. Places like Aeon, DirectD or some authorised reseller have. But do note that the interest could be quite high, so you end up paying a lot more. Credit card can do 0% installment
