All that noise about 120Hz refresh and nobody bothers to consider the difference between Apple's adaptive refresh rate and Samsung's locked refresh rate.

Samsung 120 Hz uses adaptive tech as well.

My mistake. I was looking at older specs. Samsung has had the adaptive refresh since the Note Ultra 5G.

But then Apple uses the same screens from Samsung. laugh.gif

Any early iPhone 13 owners experiencing the same issues as this guy?

The "unable to unlock with Apple watch" bug is acknowledged by Apple but I didn't know CarPlay was affected. rclxub.gif

hmm seems like iOS 15 not fully optimized for 13... but so far only software issues (jelly scrolling, apple watch unlocks, etc.)

If it's hardware issues then i might start worrying  sweat.gif

I can kinda understand why they have screen issues as this is the first time Apple has rolled out a 120Hz display.

But Apple Watch unlock and CarPlay bugs? hmm.gif

Queued up at 12 a.m. for Maxis pre-order, once the item was added to the cart, I was informed that my account needed to be verified and I would be contacted by Maxis staff within 48 hours regarding the pre-order deposit of RM300.

My colleague on the other hand managed to make full payment immediately.

Both our Maxis contracts expired years ago. Maxis... rclxub.gif

Coming from the iPhone X, I noticed that the iPhone 13 Pro's Deep Fusion sometimes oversharpens the picture. The only way to bypass Deep Fusion is to shoot ProRAW and then do post processing, but the ProRAW file size is much larger. I wonder if Apple will add a toggle in to disable Deep Fusion, as they used to have on the iPhone 11 Pro.

Shoot in proraw instead?

That's the only way to bypass Apple's AI image processing.
