anyone has experience on trade in old iphone to purchase new iphone in Machine, switch and mac city? lets say i want to pre-order on 1 October, i cannot choose to make full payment option?

Anyone got experience on pre-order from switch and select self pick up option? If the date and time has been confirmed during payment time to pick up on 8 October, is that mean it has been fixed or we still need to wait confirmation from switch?
