Kinda hesitant to jump the gun since I have a 12 pro..... but the trade-in should still be worth it.....right?

Which company offers trade-in? I'm interested to upgrade but if the trade-in can soften the blow then all the better biggrin.gif

My Apple.com order (DHL) says "Processed" in Singapore. I received the Apple invoice in the email saying "ship date" is 11/10, so the "promised" date is now the 11th (next Monday). Any luck of getting it tomorrow?

RIP means only can get to Subang in the AM, and so if you're not around that area (like me in Penang sad.gif ) then fat chance tomorrow. Probably Saturday or Monday already.

What the heck Apple.com… thought can get on launch day. Next time getting from the premium resellers instead

Yea , dont know what is the point to get from apple.com too.
Paid in full with no freebies yet couldnt receive on first day

Exactly. It feels unfair since they’re prioritizing shipments for the premium resellers first rather than their direct order customers. Should’ve shipped them to the respective hubs first for customers but have an embargo on the product to only be out for delivery on launch day instead of going through this whole hoo-ha with customs bullshit on the actual day itself. I have zero empathy for the situation right now, it’s completely avoidable with proper planning

I think your anger might be displaced. Do you have proof that they prioritise the shipment for premium reseller?
Supply chain is a lot more complex than what you think. This is made even worse by the pandemic.
As much as planning as they can do, unforeseen circumstances can happen. Simply implying they didn't do proper planning is discounting the efforts of everybody involved.
Granted the amount of iPhones that they are shipping, there will always be a chance that deliveries are delayed. But the percentage of this is often small.
For every 1 person who is not getting their iPhone today, there is at least 5 that is getting their iPhone today.

If you think you can do a better job, sign up to be their supply chain manager and see how well you can do  thumbup.gif
Complaining is easy, but finding a solution is more worthwhile.

Sorry, that part was pure speculation on my part. However, if they had shipped a day earlier things would’ve been a lot more smoother. The website promo hero banner said “get on the 8th”, only for everyone to be baited and switched with the 11-15th delivery dates despite checking out at 12:02am. I’m just disappointed by how this was handled by Apple Southeast Asia and I will vote with my wallet—next iPhone will be from premium resellers who seem to offer much better service, free gifts, 0% installments and even midnight Lalamove delivery.

Damn the Dbrand TG is such a pain to install - the given 'stickers / dust removers' are poor as hell, leaves residue on the glass and the free cloth is a dust magnet.

Thankfully the glass itself is of quality, coating on par with Hoda.

Did you order directly from Dbrand themselves? Mine shipped via Aramex a few days ago but until now no movement on the tracking, still says "departed sorting hub".

Any Penang crew here planning on self pick up if they don’t go out for delivery later today? What’s the phone number to call and location? Googled and a few locations came up, not sure which one’s the one to hit up. This is for Apple online store order via DHL Express

But their cloth and stickers are piss poor - it leaves residue on the glass  ranting.gif

Haha I used without too much trouble, but it was annoying seeing new dust specks land on the screen after I wiped everything down blush.gif hopefully I'll never need to use the 2nd screen protector haha
