Most screen protectors reflect a lot of light - the left one is Hoda Corning Glass Screen Protector which I really liked for the past year on the 12 Pro Max.
Got one with non reflective coating (not matte) this year for the 13 Pro Max and it’s the BEST screen protector i ever used. Look at how the OLED blacks are finally black and the great contrast compared to the Corning Glass one. Hahaha my friend bought IMOS and wanted to switch to mine xD
I’m just happy that the non reflective coating is not a hoax LOL

I think depends on type of TG, usually clear type will have full cover, however those matte type notch area will be cut out due to camera there.
I've seen some matte types that are also full edge-2-edge, but appears the part that goes over the notch isn't covered in the anti-glare coating (looks clear). Considering those types, but never seen anyone posting about it, so I'm unsure of the reliability. FaceID is already very finicky with masks on. Had to try the half-mask alternative appearance hack a few times before I finally got it to work somewhat reliably, so if having another layer on top of the depth camera makes it unreliable again I'll probably QUOTE(fish12345 @ Oct 12 2021, 10:20 AM)
What cannot convince me is this is a New Phone and the battery capacity is 100%.
If the phone is already in 2nd year, ya I will think to close this function or close that functions in order to prevent further drop in battery capacity.
Now it is just 3 days , I didn't play the phone , no app is running but the battery is dropping
Perhaps you can open your Cellular/MobileData settings and check if it's set to 5G, Auto or 4G. If the phone is already in 2nd year, ya I will think to close this function or close that functions in order to prevent further drop in battery capacity.

In Malaysia, mostly still 4G, but if you happen to live in an area (like Klang Valley) where they have started building and beta-testing 5G infra, the battery drain might be from the phone constantly trying to switch but failing to connect to a 5G tower somewhere. It's like the phone can "see" the 5G band but cannot authenticate the connection (because telco haven't allowed it yet) and gets a null response so it keeps retrying a couple of times (during this time it also fires up the GPS) before switching back to 4G, and it'll repeat that a few times every hour.
Try switching to 4G and leaving it overnight again.
