Honest talk, having a physical Apple Store has many perks.
For starters, Genius Bar. Apple has been known to be very generous with repairs. More often than not, they will just provide you with a new device. No need to ship to RMA and all.

Also, returns policy in Apple is amazingly generous. 14 days return policy. this includes AFTER open box.
There is also something very exciting, picking up a new iPhone straight from an Apple store.
Also, you can do trade-in via Apple which is a whole different level. They are more lenient with the conditions of the used iPhones. Traded in an iPhone before with some scratches and they still gave full value to me

Terrible service. Lack of communication. Have to constantly chase them for updates. And their social media, don't bother trying. It is almost non existent. Can continue posting about new iPhone but don't bother replying messages.

They pushed my collection date to 9th for no reason. Truly disappointed with them especially when I was given verbal assurance that I can self collect on the 8th.

Will not buy from Machines anymore in the future. Guess they don't mind losing 1 customer.
Up till iPhone 12, they were good. But not sure if they changed the way they do things, or they changed management.

It is terrible now.

Imagine that, for such a big and "established" company.

And to think I have bought so many products from them in the past.

Here is my personal experience using IP 13 pro from IP7 so far. It took me and my wife some adjustment using IP13 in particular the sorely missed touch id as we can easily unlock the screen compare to IP13.  Here is my personal experience for the phone.

Positive:-

Longer battery life = no need to constantly charging
Brighter screen
Louder sound
Quicker charging time
Larger screen to watch moview

Negative:-
Lack of touch id (we miss them)
At time the screen is not responsive in particular while browsing yewtube
