Thanks for the input. This is my first time purchasing an item with EPP. I have a few questions to add
1) can you choose how many months u want to pay? Instead of 12, can it be 24 or 36?
2) lets say i choose 12, but on the 6th month i want to do a full settlement by paying one lump sum to clear this debt, is that ok? Will there be any penalty?
3) lets say my credit limit is 2000, the item is 1000. I took EPP, with monthly instalment 100. So they will deduct 100 or 1000 from my credit limit if i took this EPP?

the sms just mentioned 12 month. I beleive if you want different period, you need to call the bank and request

since bank is charging month by month, i think again you need to contact bank to do full settlement

the credit limit is not the monthly payment but the whole amount. When you pay monthly your credit limit will increase
