Uhmmm, i got mixed feelings about this new ipad mini. In my opinion, i rather just go for the ipad air or straight go for the pro with the 120hz screen. This mini no oled panel, no pro-motion and after getting used to the iphone 13 pro max’s screen, i cannot accept a 60hz display anymore dy (ipad air is okay la coz at that price u get a decent 10.9 inch screen)

Knowing me, if i buy the ipad mini impulsively, i would probably get bored with it within a month😅😅. Hell even the new macbooks are rumoured to come with the 120hz mini led displays.

Just transferred all my data from my current iphone to the new one via the wireless phone to phone method. I noticed there is a huge 45GB chunk of my storage categorised under ‘System Data’ which my old phone doesn’t have. Any help on this?

Because of this System Data, my storage is completely full… am using a 256gb phone.

Any idea whether restore backup from Mac will avoid this issue? But I tried to restore via Mac and wasn’t successfully that’s why I transferred from phone directly.. so not sure what’s the matter now

Yea I get you, the iPad mini is meant for people who has a purpose using the palm side tablet, especially those who wants a small tab, no other iPads offer such size...other than that, there’s no reason getting the mini over iPad pros, they are more superior in every other field...

Agreed on the very specific group of people the ipad mini caters for.. at this size, the mini is the most powerful tablet there is.

That's the weird system data where I found online only suggest for normal troubleshooting like force restart phone but end up never release the space. I have experienced a few times previously on my existing iPhone, mine is 512gb and the System Data took 400GB. Can u imagine that.... It offload apps itself due to not enough space, and I force myself to remove all photos and videos. Although got extra space after remove all these apps and photos, but awhile later the system data eat all other available space also....

It really frustrated me when tried everything still not working. End up have to reset phone and restore backup again which took me more than 1 day to complete the restore.... And I experience like this not only one time, but few time already. And now I still not sure what exactly the problem is. So now I aim for 1TB storage one of the reason is because of this issues that I experience before.

I hate the process of retoring backup. I know it's because I have a huge backup so the time it need to complete really kill me.

Can u imagine the System Data eat 400GB storage??

from normal plastic screen protector > tempered glass > UV glue curved tempered glass > hydrogel...
And from smart phone > laptop > tablet > smart watch...

All also DIY until today...

No wonder you can do it so well, after so many devices and years of experience..practice makes perfect

Can share about what's hydrogel? and how is it compare with tempered glass?

I wanna replace my AirPods Pro

I got mine replaced @ Machines KLCC. Can’t get on the spot. I had to wait 1 week

Every iPhone release like minor update but always had the feeling to upgrade..lol

Only thing that not make me want to upgrade is my job apps that have to call IT to make new vpn or something
