QUOTE(ace-user @ Dec 17 2021, 10:02 AM) I think it's because I didnt enable the Sleep Focus, having the sleeping schedule itself will still receive all notifications. Normally when I sleep I just toggle the ring/silent switch and not Sleep Focus. Guess I need to do that now, still learning how to use my iPhone & AW Dont forget not to double your normal alarm and focus sleep alarm XD

QUOTE(ace-user @ Dec 17 2021, 06:21 PM) U mean having normal alarm on top of the sleep schedule alarm? I actually have both on haha Also, I realised when I’m using my phone (watching YouTube etc) and my phone receive notifications, it won’t show up on my watch. Is that normal? Watch will only show notifications when I’m not using the phone? Having normal alarm together with sleep schedule will trigger phone to alarm you (with sound/noise) Without it, then only watch vibrate/touch will alarm you. For youtube, i think your screen will cover with the "play list" thing, i forgot where the exact location but you can turn it off.

QUOTE(PumpIt @ Dec 25 2021, 12:58 AM) Is it necessary to put a screen protector for the Apple Watch? Only if you want, lol.. My previous Series 3 all naked and king king kong kong since 2017 till now also survived though Only minor scratch noticeable. But this round I got self applied for me and my wife on Series 7 and so far so good. Using the Healing Shield brand from Korea and it comes with 2 pcs / pack. You can find it on Shopee Mall : Healing Shield Apple Watch

QUOTE(moniqee @ Dec 28 2021, 09:50 AM) so far you using this brand good? i use this rockspace before i receive this healing shield and i was really disappointed by it... the corners will self-lift after 1 day ler... currently using this x-one but the bubbles no disappear hopefully my healing shield will arrive soon for me Yea, using this healing shield since October 2021 and no edge lift. It doesnt cover full screen which leave like 0.8~1mm. However, when your finger swipe over the edge, you can definitely feel the healing shield SP. UNLESS you swipe super strong, i doubt you will remove it easily. I also bath with / wash my watch daily though and still intact

QUOTE(ace-user @ Jan 11 2022, 09:00 AM) Got my healing shield after 10 days since ordering. The installation was pretty easy, all the bubbles disappear after a couple of hours but there’s this very visible line in the middle (refer to pic attached) that I believe is used to help with guiding the screen protector during installation. It won’t disappear so if u guys don’t mind it the healing shield is actually pretty good. If OCD then better look elsewhere. Hi, bro. The middle line will get less visible after certain period Mine right now no more there since November October 2021 applied. Not sure when it disappeared though This post has been edited by TongCN: Jan 11 2022, 09:45 AM

QUOTE(quebix @ Jan 31 2022, 09:07 AM) Bro, not advisable to use it for bath la. sweat and water ok, but soap/detergent is a big NO. eventually the rubber/silicone etc parts will deteriorate. u know the parts that make your watch waterproof? it will deteriorate after some time, and bye bye waterproof. Yea i know. But everything just wear and tear so i dun really mind much. My Series 3 since 2017 till now masih stays strong though

QUOTE(tcwan @ Apr 29 2024, 02:29 PM) Same here. Just got the "Service Battery notice" last week. Switch only lists like-for-like exchange which is super expensive. I checked online via the Apple Support link, seems that Apple now has AW7 Battery Replacement service? But it's mail in by arranged pickup with courier.... anyone has experience with this? Mine now 80% BH since launch What's your solution and any price range ? Update: Just found this site and see estimatoin This post has been edited by TongCN: May 24 2024, 02:14 PM

QUOTE(tcwan @ May 26 2024, 09:21 PM) I walked into Switch Service Center to ask about this, they said "Even though it shows the estimated cost, Apple doesn't offer battery-replacement service, it will still be a like-for-like swap", which would be a lot more expensive than the initial estimate. So I'm holding off on servicing my AW7. I don't know if things will change once the Apple Store is up and running. Unfortunately I am in Penang, so I can't just walk in to the Apple Store to check when the time comes. I see, me here sarawak lagik dunno how liao XD Probably see next batch release - series 10 and trade in the 7

QUOTE(tcwan @ Feb 1 2025, 10:26 PM) Finally gotten around to going to the Apple Store @ TRX. After going through the diagnosis, I was able to do a swap for RM 449 due to the battery level being less than 80%. There is no battery replacement. It is actually a device swap. Thankfully they even accepted my old unit which has a scratch on the glass (but the glass was not broken) at no extra cost. However, the procedure takes 1-2 weeks, so it's not something that can be done one the spot. I did ask whether it could be done via mail-in service, but I got the impression that they couldn't guarantee that it would be at the RM 449 cost without running the diagnostics to verify the battery condition first. The only sad part of this whole story is that I could not reactivate my Digi AirSim for my cellular plan; CelcomDigi discountinued it sometime last year and I would need to upgrade to a more expensive plan to qualify for watch cellular service (which also increased to RM 20/watch, on top of the more expensive postpaid plan). Eh, bro, sorry dig out this old post but how's ur "mail-in service" actually ? Cause flying KL this week and might wanna schedule the "battery replacement" if can. Right now 75%
