Anyone considering to downgrade from the m1 iPad Pro 2021 to this just for the form factor?

What other devices are u using? I have a pro max, laptop and a desktop. That’s why considering stepping down

after a while using cellular ipad pro, i think can't move back to wifi.. its just so convenient to have data all the time, plus the built in GPS for cellular model. i got >80gb used on my ipad now, sadly 64gb is not enough  128gb is a sweet spot. demm apple they know.. but i'm really considering 64gb now, just to prove apple wrong by forcing ppl buy 256gb lol

yes portability is the main attraction for ipad mini. hence i also considering to downgrade from ipad pro 11'. i always bring ipad wherever i go if i bring a bag.. ipad is my main device for many daily tasks, including navigation lol.. i can see map in the big screen, plus saving my phone battery.. emails, reading, note taking, draft documents, watch youtube etc all more convenient on ipad. i use my phone only when i didn't bring ipad

Just get a unifi mobile free sim, top up once you can use it for months for convenience sake.

I guess having to wait for the thing to be available is also good, it gives one quite a bit of time to think things through. Originally I was thinking of just going for the 256GB wifi versions - 256gb because I don't plan to get another one anytime in the next couple of years and wanted it to be as future-proof as possible. Thinking along the same lines, now I'll probably opt for the Wifi+cellular version too because I recall I found it irrititating to have to tether to my phone when I was on holiday last time and was using the iPad mini as a map, planner and all. Yes, I can use my phone but I know I'd prefer to do the touristy map-referring thing via the iPad mini, especially as it was easier for both me and my wife to refer to it.
Phone: texting, photos.
iPad mini: Map, Travel organiser, notes, etc.

I'm on the same boat, im waiting for authorised reseller like switch or machines to announce the ipad stock availability for physical store or their online store so can buy with installment.
