Any suggestion as to which model I should consider. Ipad 9th gen vs ipad air 3 (used)
Just general usage like media consumption, social media, drawing (for the kids) etc.
Looking for a better display device if possible
From paper the display is the same I presumed 2160x1620 resolution at 264 ppi (ipad 9th) 2224x1668 resolution at 264 ppi (ipad air 3)
Anything else I should be aware of.
Thanks

QUOTE(dikae @ Nov 16 2021, 01:28 PM) for me I would go with the newer, ipad 9 gen is about 1.5 year newer.. with better chipset (A13), better display with retina, better front camera and slightly bigger battery too.. the 0.3" display screen bigger on the air 3 is not noticeable.. Seems the Air has the laminated screen. Hence better display quality compared to the regular Ipad.

QUOTE(dikae @ Nov 16 2021, 03:20 PM) hmm Im not sure how significant are the difference in laminated vs regular but I supposed the retina on ipad 9th gen make up a little in that, plus factoring other stuffs in, I'd still go with the 9th gen https://essentialpicks.com/laminated-vs-non...display-tablet/Advantages of laminated displays Reduced thickness Improves visual quality No dusty screen Reduced hollow sound Pictures look painted on Outdoors performance No parallax yeah. some ppl just want newer / first hand stuff. And Ipad Air 3 is discontinued.. I think. To each their own
