okay let me clear some confusion

if they deal with evga via US it takes 3-5 working days to rma at their labs..
including delivery to distributor and then bulker .. around 2 weeks... consider the working days.

but if the distributor gets his supplies from EVGA europe.. there is no guarantee off the 3-5 working days.
for all we know they could have shipped to US

this is my experience dealing them directly.
but to TS... again this is common for highend stuff
It took Crosair last time to RMA my PC2-8888 nearly 3 months.
and that was directly dealing with them

also remember when to rma highend stuff.. they need to have inventory stock to give u back.

currently nvidia gpu shortage, highend rams also shortage..

TS, you should rephrase your sentences.. its not lies..its empty promises..or misleading maybe..

i say this because kingmaker did back himself up by saying that if the ram still doesn't arrive he'll refund the money..but now no money to refund..hence, an empty promise

QUOTE(kingmaker_20 @ Sep 12 2007, 08:16 PM)
Solution:

I don't have enough cash to refund you at the moment so i give you 2 choices;

1. Wait for the stuff to arrive.
2. I will get you a Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC8500 2x1GB as replacement which the arrival lead time will be 4-14 days.

Thanks for the support guys.Really appreciate it. smile.gif

However i really feel guilty on the RMA of llllll's stuff and another forumers eVGA graphic card because it's been months.I don't have enough funds to refund you so i couldn't do so at this time.Really sorry llllll.I've give you 2 options, hope you could choose either one which is best for you.

Thanks

normally corsair is fast, it'll took at most 2 days for them to process and they will ship back to you immediately,
i think you are just plain unfortunate, their supply line is pulled away from 8888 at that time

bro..please take a dictionary and lookup the word "refund"..alternately you could google "define refund"..or you could read the post by budakdegilz

I do understand about the RMA delays, my housemate sent a HDD for RMA 1 year ago and he's gotten fed-up already since the product has been phased out and they do not know how replace it. I understand that many things can go wrong, but the seller made a promise that he didn't keep. That is the issue here.

Guys, don't badger the poor seller without first finding out what difficulties he's goin through. I've dealed with him before and he's a reliable seller contra to what others say. i'm sure there's one part of the story we're missing out as to why there is such a delay.

i can testify that it is true.

good thing for low end asus 7200GS >.>
at least i can use my pc during the wait

to TS: as many people said, rma'ing high end stuffs especially overseas distributors/companies etc WILL take time. few weeks, 1 month, half a year, theres no telling. on avg it takes around 2weeks-2months for these kinda rma's. my personal experience is 2months+ as bata mentioned.

and i also got my own experience with kingmaker, yes its frustrating, but that time kingmaker had many issues with his seller. at the end at least the rams arrived.
not to say he is trusworthy or not, but at the very very least, he isnt running away, right?

hope this helps.

wei friend.

i think u better check ure so called status with the pC2-8888.

do u know they have to fry 6 rams to get one that works...
kekeke

and ive been buying rmaing testing rams alot.
crosair sux at high end... currently with teh 9136, 8888, 10000.
asked anybody who has been trough it.

anyway this is about the dispute.
to TS.. we have spoken before about ure rams. when u came to me last time asking how to overclock the rams to 800 Cl3 1T after u saw my post on my overclocking stint with a handpicked crucial ballistix tracer PC2-8000 CL5,
for all we know ure rams was fried for attempting to overvolt it.. which i warned as i remember that this rams were Low Latency PCB's. Hence my warning to shawty's bulk last time and advising ppl to buy ram fans etc...

i have warned ppl that i overclock with the full intent that i dont mind if my rams are fried and having my warrantty claims revoked.

So be in good gracious as by fact of warrantty if they actually investigate, if ure mobo screwed it.. not crucial problem, if u overclocked and wrecked it not crucials problem.. and most of all its not K|ngmakers problem.

K|ngmaker is genuine and resolves his dispute as fast as he can.

Last time i offered those rams at rm1800.. y u didnt buy.. too expensive right... y?? cause i provided guarantee and directly from crucial singapore/ US.. .with the helping that i know the techies in the labs and also the manager is my couz in US. All this was before crucial started going mainstream

infact if he had preknowledge that u overclock it.. then he has the right to say no refund.
as nobody is checking and everybody is taking each persons word... so plss be patient..
