Does anyone knows Civic FE stock headunit, whats the specs (power output….etc). ?

Looking to upgrade stock speaker, a bit hesitant on external amplifier due to warranty issue .

Any ICE kaki here can recommend good speaker model ? TQ

Yes, on purpose. Installer (Pete) advised, and in my own previous experience, it sounds much better vs. installing in the A-pillars. Disadvantage: doesn't look nice, and it's also in direct sunlight.

Nakamichi 4165 DSP output power is quite low, 4 x 60W only. Just enough to power the components. Running 2 ohm components.

Blaupunkt sub is an active sub with built in amplifier.

Hi , can you PM me how much Pete charge for installation and tuning ? not sure if you bought items someplace else.
I've done soundproofing + replacing all speakers but no sub , dsp, amp.. mainly due to warranty concern.

Now thinking doing upgrade dsp , sub and changing front speaker again. I know Pete got good reputation but never done any work there.

Bought from Xcite audio, install at Pete's USJ3 shop.

Pete is expensive but good. Schedule is 1 month waiting list. PMed.

What speakers did you change to? Why do you want to change the front components again?

Installed Infinity reference component (front) and reference co-axial (rear)
To me it’s a bit bright even with crossover selection at ‘0’ which, when you increase volume can be harsh.
I guess I prefer warm sound.

Actually just want to know ballpark figure so no sudden surprise smile.gif
