macam diff issue from the infamous steering rack,,
hopefully all alor gajah no incorrect installations..

noticed some people just changed to 225/45/18. 2% diff vs stock 235/40/18
like hankook ventus prime4

i guess impact will be minimal... since its 2%
anyway changing from ps4 to a comfort touring means should change driving behavior as well.
not simply hentam corners or last min braking

even if RS change to honda bose speaker.. the sound quality improvement of 8+1 speaker seems not significant enough to justify the 2k+ spent,
reason is HU still limited to non-BOSE DSP setting, centre speaker which tapped from left or right. and absence of active subwoofer
you might get a slightly larger soundstage, because the bottom speakers is larger.. but u still cant super crank up the bass similar to default speaker.. the door panel boom and rattle is not fun either.

underseat abit lower height... seems like hard to fit a subwoofer unless those mini type.. then some will not satisfy because not enuff punch..
boot space maybe can put sub.
if want to mod with better sound quality. have to go aftermarket brand with DSP.. like alpine, jbl, kenwood, pioneer, polk etc

also not sure how far changing to aftermarket setup/bose setup will disturb ehev models
as it has active noise control which phase cancels out environment and road noises.. to best effort.
and already factory calibrated with default speaker installation
when introduce diff setup.. all new speakers and sub have different freq response. so the ANC might not be effective or can even introduce more noise to the cabin due to the new speaker's higher gain at certain freq and diff cutoff.
but i guess if audio junkie just crank up volume and bass till drown the noise.. if ferrying family or old folks kenot le..

btw when crv ehev launch can go test drive the 12 bose system and experience it compare with civic.

100% is when right after drive? in app update from last know drive? or measure device when battery is hot?
check again when battery is cold.
scared really issue.. battery cannot hold when cold.. later not enough CCA.
EFB batteries like to die without much notice one.. one week ok at SC.. next week gone.

same EFB battery - but EHEV doesnt have crank the engine from cold unless the high voltage li-ion batt is depleted (u leave ur car few weeks, in this case if u dont disconnect the normal 12V EFB battery aslo will deplete la. just not as fast)

it's used for wake up the IPU (intelligent power unit aka. VCU /PCU ) which in turn power on the accessory functions like lighting and dashboard, headunit, air cond (electric AC compressor), drivetrain oil pumps
IPU is interconnected between the 12V batt, motor-generators, hi volt battery, etc.

when 1st push-start EHEV.. it will always be in EV mode.. by this time.. 12V battery also being constantly charged like any normal ICE car..
engine start when in hybrid drive mode + recharge the hi-volt battery..
all autonomously controlled by IPU.. including when to switch drive modes and power conservations

theoretically in EHEV the EFB battery will last longer.. but given the sad quality of honda supplied battery.. i guess maybe extra few months also will die...

yea,, if u have extra $$ to splurge can go ahead... since its plug n play.. the A-pillar with bose logo is a nice addition.
i just put treble to 7/8 and mid 4/5 to make vocal/acoustics sound crisper.
but bass put 2/3. it forever lacks punch.. any more than that sound like like crap across my jumbled spotify playlist.

can be improved by putting a subwoofer... but that 1 SC spot sure electronics warranty all void.

factory spec already have the heatsink..
u no need any cvt cooler for regular driving unless u everyday racing with myvi,ativa,x50 or up down genting non stop

H steering rack is a joke.. i deal mfg with japs and they always ask for parts with <100 DPPM.
but looks like H is celup Japanese alrd...

If using RS model with michelin PS4.
if follow recommendation pump 250kpa (36psi) front + 230kps (33ps) back.
Will get stiffer ride because when hot air expand it will push the up to 270kpa (39psi) front highest; from FWD + higher brake power from front. Rear will averagely inc to 240kpa (35psi). Drive alone will feel more spirited and responsive because can 'communicate' better with the road.

if want more comfort. just pump 240kpa (35ps) front + 220kpa (32psi).
during cold might feel slight soft. But once warm up after few km's it will hit the recommended pressure.
But u need pump more often to maintain so it doesn't go underinflated then feel sluggish and affect fc.

1) not normal if howling.. albeit road noise is intrusive with PS4

2) agree.. mine sometimes i sit also got squeak... sometimes doesnt.
back seat one side also squeak abit.. i juz put light sponge undeneath and no sound alrd

3) econ mode make steering feel sluggish abit.. but i think to give more linear control to the steering. normal mode feel smoother..

as the acceleration also more linear all petrol models, and exactly linear for eHEV (no sudden launch feel) , and deceleration is higher and less glide for eHEV (regen braking strength)

i dunwan cari pasal with honda.. so i just use Blaupunkt ciggie power socket tpms.

200HP is all this while the nett.. which omitted from MY brochure.


US Hybrid brochure = engine 141HP SAE + motor 183HP SAE --> nett ISO 200HP =.= dunno why use diff scale

MY eHEV brochure = engine 143PS + motor 184PS

so its actually the same. no slight tuned up like CRV eHEV

apart from 12 BOSE speaker for eHEV... still no BSI + RCTM + TJA...

9" infotainment for all variant. only E retain 4 speaker rest 8 speaker..
FL RS done dirty no BOSE..

based on interior picture now circulating on fb... its ecotint.
back to same old brand which many honda owners i know alrd commented the heat rejection is mediocre
