My Lancer clocked 353k km cvt with oil change every 25k KM or so that comes with external trans cooler. I believed all auto trans should have this cooler and hope fe adapter will be available soon
*
Actually the adapter is already available, SABER Honda 1.5T CVTF cooler. Same fitting across Honda 1.5T.

No sifu, just like this gen FE, but cannot afford. So everyday climb thread read only, at least know what's going on.

Still following your EO thread too.

Variable ratio (not actual different gears, lol) is something almost all modern EPS have.

You'd think Honda Malaysia would pass up the opportunity to advertise and market this when they friggin marketed auto brake hold lol.

That's why when people touting/hyping it on the other thread, i just lol only

How about the acoustic windscreen? Last gen US Market FC has got it. But apparently not ours, hope this gen FE will get it.

Anyone install the CVT cooler and is this recommended? Heard Civic Fe CVT temperature is easily get high especially long journey driving or high RPM.
*
Good to have if can afford, maintaining an average lower temp is beneficial.

Don't worry too much about the RPM if you cruising, worry more stop and go traffic jam OR constant WOT whack.

Sorry guys I cannot remember the code for proper YT embed.

Anyway this is a good video, you can see the first level root cause.

But, NO, I personally don't agree that the cause is a "lack of grease" is the cause. It is actually an effect of the issue. Meaning to say the stickiness, I speculate CAUSES the grease to lack and squeeze away from the mesh.

If its was so simple as lack of grease that Honda try to say, I assure you Honda can just rework 100% of the gear boxes with plenty of grease and it WOULD NOT have been an issue from 2016 FC to 2024 FE, CR-V, HR-V, Accord for the last decade.

Can't play the video.

By the way, as of now at least adding extra grease does help.

Compared to FL1

-Still no BSM
-Still no full TFT (Only for EHEV)
-No Bose
-Local headlight is 3 section reflector, JDM mid section is projector

Only added wireless charger for RS. Get Type R style bumper, but loses foglamp.

Tested the RS and felt so bumpy, the V will be much better in term of comfort ?

Almost every showroom only can test RS

Unlike the JDM real RS, our RS turbo suspension is no different than E and V. Unless its the EHEV.

Stock to stock, FE is much softer than FL1, especially the rear.
