The half digital meter looks fine for me I’m actually okay with that. The 10.2 digital screen it may look not as premium as you think. The bezel is too thick imo. Altho it may be more advanced and can store more info on it.

Btw I thought honda will release the price and specs today?

would like to seek suggestions on the below:

1. what car tint would you guys recommend? my budget is around 2k.
my preferred brands are 3M/Huper Optik, or stick to honda's ecotint?

2. front dash cam.
anyone installed yet? just get the 70mai is it bang for the buck?

3. car sheet cover.
any brand to recommend? as stray cats always visit my house during night.

Gotten my car last Saturday, V spec. below are some pros and cons from me.

pros:
1) Comfortable, the driver seat has adjusted to my position. I can feel the back support is quite good. However, the right arm rest on the driver’s door it is design too far away in my opinion. I can’t reach and rest my right arm there.
2) Speakers and bass are punchy, although we didn’t get the bose speakers but its quite cukup makan for me.
3) Very powerful, the power instantaneous. I hardly find any turbo lag. At least for myself. Share your feedback owners 😊
4) Wireless apple car play is convenient, but still trying to get familiar with it.
5) Honda sensing is very good and no error, but I do not like the lane keep assist as I prefer to navigate by myself.
6) Aircond is super cold, I have to turn off my right aircond vent.

7) Lastly, the car gets a lot of attention on the road and I can noticed people gazing most of the time. Maybe my area not many civic FE yet.
Cons:
1) The passenger drawer compartment is too small, can’t even fit my user manual and service booklet. same goes to other compartment, as I find it hard to organise and put my keys, access card, touch n go in the cabin..
2) Crappy rear and lane watch camera resolution. But at least can see image lah..
3) I find a little rattling on the driver’s door panel, its like a loose wiring or something. Just a little only. U won’t easily notice it when u on the music.
Things I want to check/add on for my car later on:
1) Car cover - my car porch is not fully shaded type, need to at least cover the rear boot should I get a cheap one for like rm50 or rm200 one? Any suggestions?
2) Dash cam - quite a number of youtuber recently reviewed 70mai M500. I will get it since it has a built in memory card.
3) Car tyre pressure - so far has done 100km on the car, most of the owners claim that the tyre pressure is too high that come from stock.
That’s all I can think for now. I love the car more and more, no regrets thus far.

i wonder how do we hide the wires. there is a plastic cover on the A pillar wonder it can be opened? dare not pry it out myself.

yup, been using 3m crystalline. and for those who wonder i have no issue with phone signal. the staff said only affect smart tag.
so for smart tag user u might need to cut out a hole or open window for smart tag, else just use rfid will do.

ya i noticed that too when i washing the car, its like orange or amber colour. but i'm ok with and its kinda cool to me.
didn't think of ceramic one, my choice was llumar, huper and 3m.

my previous car was llumar, not bad but the rear window can see a patch of colour fading after 5-6 yrs, so i decided to give 3m crystalline a try this time.

nope, u will only notice the colour if u are viewing from outside, inside no issue.

my driver side door panel has rattling noise, but when rest my arm thr the noise will disappear, weird. but very minor if music louder wont be so obvious =/

seems like many getting diff fuel consumption. my last tank of petrol was 13.2km/l. sometimes will go fast to cut lane.

to be honest, i only tried the honda connect once so far. and i noticed the app is kinda buggy as it will auto close while using it.

possible, for example i noticed certain batches (forgot after which year) of Civic FC does not come with motion censor alarm feature.
whereas the leather seats material is diff somewhere between year 2017-2018 as compared to the other manufacturing years' model.

i dont think FE is a failure model, as long as there is a type R version of it.

you can at least see 3-4 FE at those malls like 1utama or sunway pyramid parking lots on the weekends..
