Get 70mai or DDpai or anything that's abit more branded. Try not to be cheapo and go for those lapsapda shopi RM100 front and rear camera chaina quality punya. Manatau sot abit then ur electronics fry then SC make noise say u "illegally modified your car" and then void warranty.
If you takut soooooo much, just get the DVR from HM lo but it's srsly not worth it lol. 1.1k for the DVR. Always rmb, "original authorized" is always x2 x3 of the "real" price.

Wireless carplay mod - i’ve seen a few, but never bought nor tested. So far, just a dongle at the usb, but unsure of the responsiveness compared to native wireless carplay.

Also, for DVR, just get outside since it also plugs into a USB port for power. I’m also planning to get a Viofo A129 Pro Duo for the new civic. Planning for the shop to help install - they all pro one. If lazy, can get Honda DVR - but unsure of the specs…

Hi wish to check any of you is aware if there is any after market blind spot monitoring system (not Lane watch)? Is it something avail in the aftermarket? Am asking in case need to replace the side mirror if it gets crashed.

And for ambient light? Would the mod be allowed by the sc?

blind spot monitoring system is not depend on the camera on side mirror... common setup is the ultrasonic sensor and radar sensor..

Wanted a new car soonest but considering civic low seat/ height position and Sarawak bad road condition..

We are usually 3-4 months behind Thai and not to mention HRV may or may not CKD so I also don’t know how to factor this into the equation.

In any case here are the pros and cons
1.5L Turbo is going to hold a lot more resale value over the eHEV. So if you regret in 3 years I think you only rugi 10k at most to swap to a HRV.

Sedan is still safer and more stable on the road.

You will get a bigger boot but less options without a flat fold rear seats.

The seating position of HRV is definitely great.

Yes the height will overcome poor roads a lot better.

Maybe in your case you can wait it out. For me in Penang less off roads but no less potholes.

If we do regret like hell I may trade in or buy another P2 ativa
