Yes can. I also added on Trunk Tray & Illuminated Side step. My SA handling it.
Not sure, but I was offered 2.11% for 105k + 7 years from Affin.

Also - I went to see the car in person today. Just had a look, no test drive. So comparing it with my 2016 FC (launch unit too)

1. The rear side passenger has the biggest upgrade IMHO. If you had sat at the rear in the FC, it’s seating is really “deep” as in you were seating quite a bit behind the door opening. It’s a bit difficult to enter or exit. FE fixed that and has a more normal rear seating position.

2. Engine bay for the FE is much more roomier. You can see the extra crumple zones and more breathing room compared to FC. Open up the engine bay, and it’s immediately noticeable.

3. The new seats with “leather like fabric” on the FE compared to full leather on the FC feels like a downgrade. But in terms of comfort, maybe FE has the slight edge. Seat height is the same with the FC - pretty sure when people say FE seating is low, they never had a seat in the FC.

4. Drive view is much better on FE - mind you this is not on the road but in the showroom. Feel like the A pillar blindspot is much more minimal in the FE compared to FC.

5. The buttons on steering wheel functions similarly to the FC. In fact, I like the layout on the new FE better with proper single buttons on the FC for volume up/down. Not sure if there is a quick mute function similar to FC (swiping down quickly on volume).

6. The floor lights and red lighting accents are very subtle, but appreciated. Feel like the cabin lights are also better in illuminating the cabin.

can i ask, any particular technical reason why you are changing car from the 2016 Civic to 2022?

I always change my car every 5 years, and Civic has been the choice for me 3 times running - FD2, FC and now FE. No reason other than their competitors did not appeal to me at this time. Mazda 3 came close, but still no cigar - I’m a big guy and its internal dimensions are small. Altis is underpowered for the Malaysian market. Proton x70 has no bells and whistles that I was looking for - no carplay was the dealbreaker. Continentals - I don’t want to waste my money.

Don’t get me wrong, the Malaysian Civic is by no means perfect, but it’s the best in my current use case.

Things i gathered that Honda Msia has decided to omit from the local Civic FE (for even the highest RS variant) but is available to be spec-ed for the Civic include:

1. Smart key card
2. Dual climate control
3. Bose sound system
4. Sunroof
5. Wireless charger
6. Full digital meter cluster

Things that make our market's Civic unique:
1. Highest engine output in the region

Things i kinda wish it had but is not found on the Civic FE worldwide:
1. 360 view
2. All 4 windows auto up/down
3. Hands-free trunk operation
4. Blind spot monitoring instead of Lane Watch camera

Did i miss anything out? Still, some features are really commendable such as the 18' rims with PS4, and the full Safety suite.

Hi mind sharing experience with Honda's Econtint package? Is it value for money? Workmanship ok? (no bubble after few years etc.)? Any better alternative? I view windows tint as long term investment & don't mind spending up to RM3500 for good quality tint with security film & good heat rejection & also TnGo/RFID friendly. or any of you have already gotten outside quote for tinting Civic FE?

Quite interested with civic v spec. but civic seat. how come they not make it normal seat like honda city. I find ketam recline seat uncomfortable.

Wish to sell my gm6 for this, but seems like from the pic, seat same like ketam. may be civic trademark seat is like that?.

So I went to a showroom today, damn the SA is super excited about it and keep telling me that the new one is far better than the ketam since he already drove it (ya, without lotax n insurance LOL).
I've tested everything. From seat to sturdiness to everything lah. Here's my findings on the Civic (RS model) in no particular order:
1) Back tyre housing/damper is cloth type. O.O It will get dirty easily right?
2) TBH, when medias keep blow water say "you must come and see for yourself and only you'll know the beauty of it.". NGL, it's real. Seeing it IRL, it's really just, wow! If I were to compare to the direct competitor of M brand, the frontal is almost similar.
3) 2 radiator fans to cool down the 180hp 240Nm engine.
4) Real 2 rear diffusers
5) Head unit (infotaintment) is smooth and huge. UI and UX is pretty intuative. As for Wireless CarPlay (sorry, I no Android device), I found that it's laggy. I was playing song + open waze and my song was struggling abit to play. Waze was also. But all is fine after 1-2s. I'm not sure if it's initial boot or it's my old 8+ device lah.
6) Rear trunk is hydraulic. No helping you to close ya. But the closing of the boot is really, nice.
7) Front hood is HEAVY AF = quality?
8) To change wiper, they follow similar to brand M's same level competitor way. How to trigger it idk but the wiper is half under/below the hood.
9) Speakers, ok lah. Can't really test because too much plastic all over the speaker. Mass general public won't care about the quality la. I bet if HM slapped Bose emblem on it also ppl will believe it's real Bose lol. (I'm not audiophile)
10) I'm > 165cm, < 170cm, front seat put to the optimal driving position, back seat has HUMUNGOUS OF SPACE.
11) Rear AC vents are placed just nice. IDK if it's just me but the location of it looks good.
12) Alot of soft touch area that used to be hard plastic. Well done HM. But lmao, the rear seat's seatbelt there, that's plastic. Imagine sit and kena pushed to the side and then suddenly, hard plastic lol.
13) Usual contact area of the door is soft touch but others is hard plastic.

Ok, I can't rmb liao. That's my 13 cents on FE. biggrin.gif
Booked RS but still deciding. flex.gif
