QUOTE(Jason2021 @ Jan 12 2022, 11:37 AM) Absence of "Source" button on left side of steering control means we cannot easily access media control using steering control (must reach out to the touch screen)? Civic 2022 (US) Manual - page 251 to 253. Our RS is A-Type meter. Press home & cycle using the left selector wheel to change source. |

Even though I have no plans for the high spec 10” display, I also feel sad that it’s not offered. It does add driving value if you see what it can display vs the 7in.
I think we can start the tikam session since there is only 24hrs to launch. My guess is S - 120k V - 135k RS - 145k |

Believe it around that price. or slightly higher vs current civic price follow new accord style which is expensive vs the previous modelI think we can start the tikam session since there is only 24hrs to launch. Thanks for pointing out the latest OM. It then makes the steering wheel remote switching of audio modes the most difficult one for model with this Type A meter (need to first scroll through the long list of items under Home menu in order to reach the Audio menu) (even model with 7" display will be easier to scroll through the audio modes directly using the Source button) (easiest would be Type B meter model by just scrolling the left side selector wheel as the left side display is standby to show the audio info). If that is the case, may be easier to just reach out to the 9" touch screen to switch the audio mode for the Type A meter model. |

think i'm just gonna test drive and hold back my purchase. the lack of that 10" cluster is a dealbreaker for me especially in the RS spec
also waiting for MK8 Golf R Line 1.4 TSI. Rumoured price is around 130 - 140k+ also my C segment upgrade shortlist - FE Civic RS - Mazda 3 2.0 H+ - Mk8 Golf 1.4 TSI R line Corolla is out because I really can't accept that interior This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Jan 12 2022, 03:29 PM |

In any case, I am currently driving a car without even bluetooth handsfree. Not sure in practice is it really more convenient and do we really need to switch audio mode from steering wheel that often. |

If RS is priced at Mazda 3 2.0H+ levels, I think not so fair to compare to 13xk Altis.Golf price maybe very competitive but lack of all safety features..but still a nice car to drive mazda 3 liftback is sexy & nice if you no concern about space And in my mind I think that 15-19k spared is really a handy sum if someone does end up with the Altis. RM15xk is really just 1 more top up a bit from CRV..... So yeah, personally for me, the Mazda 3 is completely priced at the wrong market (not for me). QUOTE(hot_hunt @ Jan 12 2022, 03:45 PM) Same, cant accept corolla interior.. I'm ready to retrofit those safety features myself if I end up getting the Golf (found a few shops that does this with original VW parts). but it really boils down to how much they price the Golf, 120 - 130k is the sweet spot, otherwise I'll wait till year end for deals. I also believe its gonna be easier to get higher discounts for VW (since its considered a 'cold' brand) compared to Honda or Mazda. My only concern for the Golf is the usability of all those touch controls in the interior... this one have to try out myself Golf price maybe very competitive but lack of all safety features..but still a nice car to drive mazda 3 liftback is sexy & nice if you no concern about space For Mazda 3, its expensive and honestly other than the overall design and interior quality, nothing to shout about for me. I guess I like it because its the only choice (other than the Golf) to still have a conventional AT rather than CVT QUOTE(lee82gx @ Jan 12 2022, 03:49 PM) If RS is priced at Mazda 3 2.0H+ levels, I think not so fair to compare to 13xk Altis. Well I'm looking at segment rather than price...so yeah my range is 130 - 150k+. And personally I don't really want a crossover or SUV so naturally the choice is limited to the few sedans/hatchbacksAnd in my mind I think that 15-19k spared is really a handy sum if someone does end up with the Altis.
