I have the FE and frankly it looks like a bigger City; the FC is intoxicating with its looks. It's sleek and the rear light cluster ticks all the right boxes. In my opinion, it's a much better looking car.

I come from BMW 5 series and fed up of elegant. Prefer the almost coupe looks and low slung body of the FC. FE looks like trying to please everyone. Of course, that's my opinion only. I see many FC owners trading up to FE though.

So far only 300km, so, no I don't or rather havent sent my car for service there. I believe I can send me car there or to Peringit (the owner of Honda Bangsar). I'll see but I am inclined to Sec 13 due to convenience.

Hi does anyone know what is a good solution for phone holder/charger? I have so many of these but they all fit in to standard air vents but the FE uses honeycomb design for the AC blower. The best place for the phone for me would be in front of and about the same level as the air cond blower area. I tried windscreen but it's too intrusive. Many posts back, someone posted a dual phone holder which slips over the central display, It's basically a plastic bracket - seems like the most elegant solution but the FE has 3 screen sizes and mine is the smallest size (E variant). Any ideas?

The very same things that go on in my mind! Did you consider getting readymade leather or PU seats on Alibaba - they're much cheaper than a custom fit which may set you back at least 2k. Painting (or temporarily painting with rubber paint) is one of the things I want to do at some time. Let us know how your project goes!

Yeah the black rubber paint (small bucks experiment if DIY) won't last but the idea is to see if the "black" rims look better and if the look is desired, then go the permanent way, spending bigger bucks.

Haha, everyone's idea and expectation of hifi is different. In my case, even with E spec, I am comfortable with the sound system. You can't have true hifi in a car mainly because of ambient noises and also the speaker placement given the shape of a car and seat/headrest designs cannot possibly offer a hifi experience. If you want a loud boombox, that's another matter though.

OK, I will read that as car can offer you high quality expensive sound systems.

But in my opinion and understanding, the very nature of a moving car with vibration, road and traffic noise, cannot possibly offer you high fidelity in the true sense of the word.

No calibration is required as the overall diameter will be the same. That's because while the rim is bigger diameter, the tyre series profile is lower.
